Gianmario Gastoldi

Lawyer.

Master’s degree in law, from the University of Milan, is a lawyer, now a member of the Milan Bar Association.

He was attorney, from 1989 to 1999, for a group of concessionary companies in charge of revenue collection and assessment in more than 800 Italian municipalities (all registered in the Register of the Ministry of Finance – Department of Revenue – Central Directorate for Local Finance pursuant to Presidential Decree 639/72 and Legislative Decree 507/93) controlled by a holding company listed on the Paris Stock Exchange; for some of them, he was also responsible for corporate compliance and litigation.

In 1997 he set up and coordinated, until 2010, both as CEO and advisor, the first mixed (public-private) company operating in the field of territorial management.
From 1993 to 2012 he was first Commissioner of IPAB and then, after its transformation into a Foundation, Board Member and Secretary.

He was an external Councillor (1997-1998) in charge of budget, taxes, trade and productive activities in a major Italian municipality (in the top 100 by population and top 20 by income).
He has collaborated, since 2013, with the University ‘A. deNebrija’ of Madrid (E), Faculty of Law, ‘Master de Acceso a la Abogacia’ department.
Since 2013 he has been President of an Association of Bank Shareholders.
From 2016 to 2021 he was President of a Consortium (ex art. 7 D.Lgs. n. 188/2008). Since February 2022 he has been Vice-President.
Since 2019, he has supported, as full members of the board of statutory auditors, the board of an Italian multinational company operating in the field of industrial automation, with three production sites in Italy and controlling companies in Germany, France, England, Sweden, Japan, China and South Korea.

Since 2019 he has been President of an Edu-tech company.
Since 2022 he has been President of a “Consumer Cooperative” founded in 1946 and with 400 members.
It currently assists both public and private companies (including those listed on the Milan Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange).
